I am now back home from Cancun! It was a very relaxing vacation and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I hate that feeling of being “back to reality.” Anyway, as mentioned in my last post, here are the photos of my little trip to the Mayan ruins of Coba, which is a short drive away from Cancun. It was an awesome experience; I love visiting archaeological sites and learning about our ancestors, especially the ones who built such incredible structures. The Mayan civilization is one of my favorites; there’s so much to learn from their culture. Coba was amazing because unlike Chichen Itza, it is completely hidden in the middle of the jungle and you are also able to climb their highest pyramid, Ixmoja. However, this is the last year that they are letting tourists climb up there, so if you’re going to Cancun soon, take advantage! I was on my way to the top of the pyramid, but halfway there, I looked down and I just couldn’t do it; I was too scared! You will see the photos below…
Stay tuned for the last post on my adventures in Cancun! ;)
